One of the classic book on the art of sales. Mr. Bettger incorporates a lot of the favorite Dale Carnegie basics and molds them with his own wisdom and insigght. I wish more sales people would read this.
This book delivers as a thrilling multi-layered espionage thriller. Once a "Tourist" always a "Tourist"? A believable thriller that is a page turner with great surprises sprinkled through out.
Forget the hype about the movie. The book is always better. While some may argue the merits of whether a graphic novel is really a book they miss the point. This is a great story and a great read period. In this alternate reality, we won Vietnam and Richard Nixon is in his third term. Someone is targeting the costumed heroes of America. These retired heroes (??) must contend with both their own disillusions with their lives as well as a society that both loathes and needs it's heroes.
Remy is reeling from the attacks of 9/11. He finds himself with a self inflicted gunshot head wound and a reality that exists in fractured pieces. He has a girl friend he can't remember, a kid who pretends he is dead and his new employer is a secret government agency chasing terrorist one burnt paper shred at a time. A darkly comic look at the aftermath of 9/11.

King Lear as told by the Fool. The Bard will probably be turning in his grave but you can't help but enjoy a book with sharp wit and shagging in equal portions. Mr. Moore has crafted a bawdy retelling of the story of King Lear that even with the tragedy and death just makes you chuckle.
